European Parliament, Brussels
Sports leaders from across the EU gathered at the European Parliament on 13 April for a series of presentations and discussions. The ENGSO president Birgitta Kervinen opened the programme welcoming all the participants into ENGSO's initiative.
Further speakers included Bart Ooijen from the European Commission and Amanda Bennett from European Women in Sport. The first day concluded with a panel discussion with Pedro Velasquez from the European Commission, Tim Woodhouse from the Women's Sport and Fitness Foundation and Emma McClarkin MEP.
